Verizon Iphone 6 Unlocked Gsm

Sep 24, 2014 Has anyone been able to figure out if the Verizon version of the iPhone 6 will come unlocked from the factory for GSM? My work is buying me an iPhone. I'm going to Italy for vacation. My Verizon iPhone 5 came factory unlocked and I simply had to put a local SIM in it while I was living in Italy. Unlock Sim Card Iphone 6s Plus.
